Our Materials
Each piece of Sorella Creations jewelry is made by hand using Italian Murano glass beads, sterling silver, and/or 24kt gold. The beads we use are hand-blown over an open flame in Murano or Venice Italy.
This work is known as lampwork and the methods the Murano glass-blowers use to create our beads have been followed for generations. Because each Murano bead is hand-blown, no two pieces are exactly alike and sizes and exact shapes vary. Sizes are approximate.
Our foiled glass beads are made using .925 sterling silver or 24kt white gold foil submerged beneath the famous transparent colors of Moretti glass.
Silver foil is slightly brighter than white gold foil. We use sterling silver in our chains, earring backs, beads, and other findings. The silver will stay shiny and beautiful with an occasional polishing using a silver cleaner or cloth.
All necklaces come with a 16" sterling silver snake chain that is 1.2 mm in width. If you would like to substitute for a different length at no additional charge, please specify your preference
when you place your order. We have sterling silver snake necklaces available in 14, 18, 20 or 22 inches, and those chains are 1 mm in width. All of the chains are 925 sterling and are made in Italy.

Chain length or style, bead color, accent beads, clasps, and earring backs can all be substituted to fit your individual style.
